Youth Ministry

Introduction to Thomas Carrott Youth Ministry Co-ordinator

Hello! I am Thomas, the newly appointed Youth Ministry Coordinator for Brinkburn and Heavenfield partnerships, and I’m writing this to briefly introduce myself.

I will be visiting all of the Saturday vigil and Sunday Masses throughout the two partnerships in the coming weeks, so you will see me in your parish soon, if I haven’t already been.

I’m from Alston and have just moved back to Northumberland after a while away in Oxford.

I am, please God, really looking forward to building up youth ministry throughout the two partnerships, working to serve and engage the young people of our communities and to work with volunteers to help young people in their journey of falling in love with Christ and His Church.

Before I come to your parish, I would ask that you pray for me in my new post, pray for our young people, pray for potential and existent volunteers, and to also prayerfully consider if you might be able to help support the partnerships’ youth ministry in any way.

I’ll be available to talk to you after Mass when I come to your parish, but, otherwise, if you want to contact me sooner, you can do so on: youth.brinkburnheavenfield@rcdhn.org.uk

I look forward to meeting and, hopefully, working with you in the near future.

Missions

St Robert’s Parish hope to run a Life Teen Group again soon. Details will be given here.

The Life Teen Mission
As a Eucharist-centred movement within the Roman Catholic Church, Life Teen leads teenagers and their families into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church. With the Blessed Virgin Mary as our intercessor and guide, Life Teen seeks to unleash the fullness of the Sacramental power present within the young Church.
