What preparation is required?
Parents are required to attend a Baptism Preparation Meeting which is to help them understand the sacrament, the process, the liturgy, and the covenant you are entering into with God. Any Parents seeking Baptism for their child are asked to speak to Fr Peter or Deacon Stephen to make arrangements to attend this meeting.
Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit (vitae spiritualis ianua), and the door which gives access to the other sacraments.

What is the Church’s tradition about choosing a name?
